124, What size are my speakers? Posted by 95GST, May-16-01 03:29 PM
Im tired of hearing my door speakers are 5.25" then 6.5" Im thinking I'ts really 5.25" but can I put a 6.5" Since we are on the topic. Which is better? Infinity Kappa 60.2cs component or MB Quart RSC216 component? I want CLEAN loud sound.

The door speakers are 5.25. Some people have gotten 6.5 to fit with some minor modification though. As for the two brands you mentioned, I love my infinities, but I think MB Quarts are really sweet. Just my 2 cents.

if you can afford the quarts, they will be the best ones youve ever heard. ive never heard or had bad experience with an MB component. their cost reflects their product. but the kappa (a little outdated) is still one of the better speakers out there. JL Audios component set is really good too

Ok, which one should I get?
Im on a budget. RSC216, PSC216,CX8.03 and RSD216. There are a lot more, but this is what EBay offers from $150-$250 which isnt bad since they cost more close to $400 or more. (Im on a budget) These speakers are all component and 2way and 130watts max (cx modem is 100w)
Im thimking of going with the MB Quart RSC216 or Infinity Kappa 60.2cs. Not sure
I noticed MQ Quart website mentions MUSiCOMP. Whats that? Im thinking its the crossover that comes with the component system???
