Hi guys!!!
I'm planning to install a sound system on my 99 GS... I have only one question... Thru were in the firewall, can you pass the 12 Volt battery cable? I can't see a space or hole to get it thru...
Any ideas on a good location on the firewall to do this?
edit: Does the original bracket mounts for the stock radio fit on an after market radio? (single DIN head unit)

Lift up the carpet in the passenger side footwell, you'll see a rubber grommet that you'll be able to pass the wire you need through.. I've passed 4 gauge but there's a lot of room there, you could easily go bigger..

What ^ said. And yes, a single din head unit bolts right up to the existing brackets. Just use the screws supplied with the head unit.
