hey man did you ever hear of power running through your RCAs I got my alarm installed yesterday and the guy was talking about having power through my RCAs how the hell can that happen and how can i fix it? TIA

not sure what he means, i know some rca's come with a remote turn-on wire. Or, i think he actually means that the rca and power cable are to close, which causes alternaotr whine.

sounds more like he's talkin about a ground loop, do you hear any whine with the motor on(from your system)? or is he talkin about your alarm??? are you havin any problems?

ya from my system, i think its because the RCA is to close to the cap

yeah, that could give ya some interesting feedback. as a test, turn it on where it makes the noise, and move the rcas from the cap, see if it dies, or changes pitch. if so, you know how to eliminate one problem...
