Ive been thinking about getting this JVC hnit, but Ive always thought JVC headunits were cheap and kinda generic. No offense if you have one.
Does anyone have this unit? If so, what do you think about it?

JVC's are junk. We had almost a 50% return rate on them at the store when I worked in car audio.

This post can be ignored. I bought a sony headunit.
The purpose of all this was so I could have my car computer plugged into a headunit to control the audio better.

I had a JVC like 7 years ago and had all kinds of problems with it. I have a new jvc in my car right now and havnt had a problem since i bought it 2 1/2 years ago.

I actually dig my JVC Kameleon that I got 2.5 years ago. No problems at all, but then again I have a basic stereo setup.

You're in the very small minority. That kameleon model is the #1 most returned car radio in history.

Really, Damn. Yeah no issues at all yet. However, I have the Best Buy extended warranty and I "forsee" an issue coming up so I can get a new model...lol

I had a newer JVC deck for like 2 years. It did its job well. It also looked nice, as a matter of fact, it was so damn flashy I decided to take it out and replace it with a simpler one so my car wouldn't get stolen! I'm now using a Sony CDX-F5510 or something like that... :D
