10723, Anyone knows how to installl a rear speaker? Posted by tomatot, Mar-11-05 06:46 PM
Hi. I am a beginner in car audio. I saw some good deal online and wanaa upgrade my GST 97 infinity system. I got new Door Speaker 2 weeks ago. Now, I would like to get a pair of new rear speakers.
Could someone post pics on how to remove the grill and how to connect from wires? I will be great !
THANKS

you don't remove the grill, you remove the entire plastic panel. Remove your lower seat bottom and there are 2 screws you have to remove, then lower your seat back and I think there's a couple back there. Then the rest of it is held in by friction clips (i'm pretty sure but check for all the screws you can find, it's been awhile).
Then it's just like the fronts.

One screw holding the panel to the body should be dead lower center of panel, another screw is holding the panel down to the bottom metal part where the seat was, and the last screw is rite where the seat folds down.. give it a good tug and she'll pry free from the clips, be careful though.
