What brand alarm do you have? What brand turbo timer do you have?

Some TT's have outputs on them that are meant to activate when on, and that can control relays. If your TT has this, you can wire up a relay to interupt the ignition input wire to your alarm. This will keep the alarm from seeing that the ignition is powered up, and you can arm/disarm the alarm as normal. If your alarm has an external shock sensor, you can also use a relay to interupt the wires to that, so the shock of the car starting/running wont set the alarm off also. This way, then the TT times out and shuts down the car, the relays turn off, and everything is back to normal.

Ground when armed output is just that- some alarms have a wire on them that gets a ground signal whenever the alarm is turned on. If its a DEI(Directed Electronics) alarm system, then its an orange wire. This gets wired to the window module to roll up any window when you arm the alarm.
