They do look good, but as my mom always told me "You get what you pay for." I'd try to find someone that has them and talk to them or even listen to their system before I bought anything.

My friend has personally heard them and he said its amazing. This is another branch of power acoustic so maybe this child company is getting started and thats why its cheap. Anyway this is most likely what I am putting in my next audio setup, I was just curious if you guys were firmilar with them

I talked to my audio guy today and he said hes never heard of em. Good word to the wise tho... new company's sell stuff cheap to pull in the market, and their products might be good, but after a while it might shit the bed. Make sure theres a warrenty for any products you purchase from a new company.

Yea there is a one year warranty on all their products. They look trust worthy. Read their profile if anyone is interested http://www.splusa.net/about.html

Weird Voice coil configs though. Dual 6 ohms? thats a little unusual. You would have to install three of them, bridged to get a solid 1Ohm load. Very interesting. Let me know how they work out though.

Actually that configuration isn't that weird. Back when the old JL Audio W6 models were thier top of the line, they came with dual 6ohm voice coils, so I wouldn't let that get to you. Although I have never dealt with SPL, I will say from experience that Power Acoustic themselves are very low quality. Most of thier amps are over rated and very cheap. Like above said, you get what you pay for. But if you are on a budget and you think they sound good, then I say go for what your wallet can handle.

W6 models came with dual 6 ohm so that you could put them in the pre-made JL Audio Tri-Sub enclosure. Dual 6 ohm = 12ohm load / 3 subs = 4 ohm load seen by amp.

Always listen to something before you buy it. You do get what you pay for, but every once and a while you can find a new, less expensive company that is making a quality product. I have never heard of SPL but I know that Power Acoustic does not make quality products. I bought Visionik amp, a sister company of their's, and it was not worth even the small amount of money I paid for it. Good luck.
