I thought you were just using the wastegate spring?? Be careful. I wouldn't even mess with a boost controller until you have a boost gauge.

Hi Guys! I'm trying to install my star performance turbo kit stage II. I have a big problem, the hks blow-off valve that came with it doesn't have the instruction where the hose go. Does it go to the vacuum or where? I'm lose. I know when the throttle is close it removes the excess air preventing the back pressure to the turbo compressor. I also wanna know How much is that VC1 split second they're talking about? How do you install it? Do you have to remove the map sensor and replace it with the VC1? thanks guys...

Tap into any vacuum source fro the BOV,
The VC1 just prevents Fuel cut when the ECU detects more air flow than it is designed to see (+manifold pressure)
The VC1 is simply a voltage clamp that goes in-line to the ECu and prevents the ECU from "seeing boost"

Thanks Wyatt!!! Now I'm trying to upgrade my ignition system to burn my fuel better. What's the best ignition set-up should I installed? Is our ignition "distributorless"? MSD-6 or twin Power from HKS, hmmmm? Thanks for the help again...

Our ECU does all the firinn on our cars, I think the only thing we can get for our ingitions is the DIS-2 amplifiers.
Crane sells the HI-6di2 and MSD sells a DIS-2 that has a lot of cool features.
I wanted to get soemthing from Jacobs, they have great producst but don't offer anything for our cars yet.
There are 2 DIS-2 amps on ebaymotors.com if anyone is interested, you also need a tach adapter (PN##8910)
I'm thinking of getting the MSD DIS-2,
its got rev control and a lot of cool features.

Some of the main features I like about the DIS-2 is the 2-step launch and the timing retard. I use both. Of course, HRC uses and sells the Crane.
