#40676, "100 shot on stock internals"

Is it possible to run a 100 shot on stock internals with a upgraded fuel system? Also what is the best progressive controller out?

yes it's possible i've done it twice on my stock internals, 2 words.....fuckin fast. i didn't even upgrade fuel just put the nx 100shot wet jets in. as for progressive controllers it's all a matter of opinion, i like the nos mastermind but i'll probrably get the nx b'cuz that's the system i have. all a matter of opinion.

You could very well run a 100 shot with a upgraded fuel system and proper tuning. I'd recommend getting a high pressure fuel pump (accel or walbro), at least 30Lb injectors, a S-Afc, and a MSD Dis-2 with good wires and plugs. With proper tuning and these mods, it's easily possible, be careful!!

Did you run the 1/4 on the 100 shot? What kind of times did you pull off? What times are possible?

no time slip sorry. i was just playing around and decided to put my 100 shot jets in squeezed a couple times and decided that i probrably shouldn't keep doin it with bare minimum mods to support it, ya know? I'll tell you it's the fastest I've EVER gone in my car and i was flyin'

I wouldn't do more than 75 shot with out any other supporting mods. 100 shot will not last very long with out proper ignition timing and fuel management.

I hear 100shot envy . I'm just playing but that's why I took out the jets and put my 80's back in, it was fun though.

Trust me bro, I envy all you guys, I really miss my car and seeing all these old and new parts I had been gathering just sitting here sucks even worse.

I say if you are going to do the high shots of nitrous, do it right, build the engine with high compression pistons (12.5:1) or better power off the bottle and also this will help the power you make on the bottle be even higher. If you tune it right, with proper fuel and spark timing, you should be able to EASYILY hit 300 HP with a 125 shot, maybe even close to 300 on just a 100 shot. Now imagine the power you would have with a progressive controller that will get you spraying around 175 shot!!! }> }>
Now I am not talking about using regular gas for this, it would have to be with race gas or a mix of race gas and premium.

Someone needs to finish my dream here!! Someone needs to hit 12's with nitrous only.

I will be that someone . Actually, I'm getting my bottle tomorrow, it'll probably be around 6 months or so before I rebuild (10.5:1 - I'm not THAT ballsy) and spray around a 150 shot.
