Sup guys, found out my car broke piston 1 where the rings sit inside. The motor is totally ripped apart at a DSM specialty shop, and I told them Id get them all the parts to use to rebuild the motor. I'm buying lower compression pistons and rods sometime today, wondering if anybody knows the best place to buy them or better yet the fastest place to buy em from. Will they come with rings, or do I have to go buy a Total Seals ring kit (if they make em). Last but not least, I NeeD to know where to find a high performance head gasket!!!, I'll settle for the name of a company that makes em. Thanx guys, need to get this stuff before the garage starts charging me storage!!
--Anybody try locking header bolts yet???

Scratch that message, getting the pistons, rings, and rods next day air from HRC ($1160 :o), cant get much faster than that. According to HRC and a Neon shop they referred me too, there is no high performance head gaskets available yet
Now if I could just keep the exhaust manifold bolts from comin out.....

while you have your car apart, get your block o-ringed amd as long asyou use the multilayer head gasket you can use copper o-rings.
Thats what I did, and as I'm reading my "Maximum Boost" book its telling me I did a good thing! Thank you Corky Bell!
