Did some research, but still have questions.Does anyone have experience with this turbo? If I get a log style manifold and this turbo, will it fit with out having to relocate the radiator fans? I'm going for 300hp. Ive read this should be enough. I'm eye balling this one on ebay

Cannot offer any Intel on the turbo, but you realize there is no meat left to install an intake pipe or filter? You will need a spool piece welded to the compressor housing for street use.

Yea I seen that. I emailed the seller and he told me it still grips the filter fine, has pictures showing it. What turbo would you recommend for 300hp?

I have the same concerns about the compressor housing. You may be able to get a clamp on there, but your filter will probably fall off on every hard launch. The Turbonetics website is terrible and I don't see any compressor maps for this turbo. Perhaps you could E-mail them with the specs and ask for a compressor map or anything they will give you. After pawing through the ATP Turbo website, they have a similarly sized Garrett turbo rated for "350 HP". A T3/T4 is the go-to turbo for bolt-on 4 cylinder kits. Maybe not ideal, but it is a good place to start.

Thanks for the reply. I actually ended up going with a Hahn 16g turbo. it was a pretty good deal so I went that way.

I had a Hahn 16G on my 420A for years. It's a good match. Spools up fairly quickly and will get you enough power to have you fighting for traction.
