I was reading a previous post by wickedesi who made a catch can from a air compressor filter. In the picture is shows both lines from the pcv and the other from the valve cover breather teed into the side of the filter. In the post is says to plumb it back to the exhaust on the other connection. What would I do for this.

You don't need to tap into the exhaust system. That is just a way to create vacuum to the can. The more common way to run a catch can is to just have the breather lines (one or both) run to the can and then have a filter on top to let gases escape.

You're thinking of an exhaust slash-cut. They will create vacuum, which will help ventilate the crank case. if you have the wherewithal to do it, the parts are inexpensive and can be purchased from Summit.

What would I all need to do this slash cut mod ? Also to the previous post if I were to do the original catch can with the compressor filter housing I would just tee both breathers to one side of the filter and attatch a breather filter to the other side ? Is there any advantage to the different set ups ?

This is pretty basic information. Google. Crankcase evac is not vehicle specific.

If I were to use the compressor filter method, could I just tee both valve cover breathers to the filter input and get a weld in nipple from the evac system and run the filter outlet to that ? Or am I best with the kit you pointed out with the two filters and weld in fittings?
