I ordered a oil line kit for my new turbo kit for my 96 420a GS.I noticed that the feed line has the fitting that bolts to the turbo has a restricter hole in it.Is the restricter fitting needed?I also see that the oil line can be threaded direct into the turbo.Do I need the restrictor hole or can I screw in the oil line right to the turbo?

The restrictor may be needed depending on the turbo's oil requirements. Look up your turbo and see. If you do not know what to do, you have no business around a turbo.

Many T3/T4 journal turbos don't require a restrictor, but there are some that do. Ball bearing turbos almost always require one or they'll blow pretty quickly. Grammar Nazi guy is right, you need to figure out what the manufacturer of the turbo says and go from there. To give you an idea, our cars oil pressure can range anywhere from 40-90psi of oil pressure (assuming you're tapping the back of the block for the feed). Good luck!
