#267, "turbo components...written in Japanese?"

Hey guys i'm a new kid on the block here on your message board and already seek help from you guys. I was wondering if anyone has used the blitz dual turbo timer? I have no idea how to wire it up plus im using a greddy wiring harness (it works with the blitz timer plus cheaper). on the greddy harness are 3 single wires that i'm not sure where they go plus on the back of the timer is a group of thin wires i have no clue about? Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks

I've got the Greddy turbo timer and my girlfirend has the HKS turbo timer (on her 95 TSi AWD, shit that sucks, it's so fast) and they are both the same more or less. The harness that come seperate is a "Y" shape. You unplug the factory harness that goes into the ignition and plug in the harness from the timer. then plug the factory harness into the the other end of the timer harness. Then you plug the harness from the actual turbo timer into the the one plug left open on the turbo timer harness. Then just ground it and start it up. Note, the HKS timer wouldn't work until the safety wire was attached to the parking brake. Hope this helps.

the wires comming off the harness are just for convenience if you want to hook up an alarm or something later (so you don't hav eto slice so many wires in teh future). one of the wires coming out of the timer is for the e-brake, and the other is fo rthe speedometer (I forget which is wich. I believe the brown one is the e-brake. that is how it is on the greddy timer, and it is basically a copy of the blitz.....without a boost gauge).

have fun!
