something I did on my 99 Avenger that you could do in 2gnt
I swapped the steering wheel to a 3G eclipse
the steering is direct bolt on
the air bag need to be from a 2000 to 2002 only to be compatible
the cruise control arm still bolt on but you need to cut some of the metal with a dremel

I wanted something more modern while still looking factory so I choose the air bag of the Stratus Coupe because of the ram head







not my usual kind of mod but I really love it

That looks a lot better than the stock steering wheel! I wanted to swap mine, too. Unfortunately I live in Europe and Mitsu never sold the 3G over here. It's really hard to get that steering wheel. Even the Evo7-9 ones are cheaper.
