#105590, "Chrome Powdercoat!!! Actually looks good"

I have been doing alot of powder coating lately and am starting to get into chrome's, metallic's and translucents. I just sent out a 4g63 valvecover and hx40 housing I did for a member on dsmtuners. He requested it to be done in chrome. I was a little hesitant at first as im not much of a fan of chrome and dont have a whole lot of faith in chrome look-a-likes but i gave it a shot anyways. The pictures are Eastwood chrome with a high gloss clear over top. Just showing everybody the good results, and dont be afraid to check out my ad in the for sale section for powdercoating The imperfections on the letters are what i believe to be gashes from a grinder that were already there when i started.

To really show off your work, try getting a better camera, or work on focusing your current camera better. I cannot even get an estimate to the quality of your work with those pictures (not saying it is bad, or good). Members need to see close up and focused images of the finished work if you wish to inspire confidence.

I know what you mean, all my pictures were taken with the trusty old blackberry. I would like to get my hands on a good camera but I am a college student and a camera does not fit in my budget anytime soon, especially after the recent raping of buying textbooks. I will be on the look out for a good deal on one though.

The valve.cover looks good from what I can tell, the picture of the turbo does it not justice in my opinion tho. Maybe so better lighting (maybe even outside) the pictures sould look better. Seems like just a dark setting to begin with.
