This part that sits right in front of the condenser. (61986)

is it possible to replace this piece without having to also replace the upper part that holds the headlights?

It appears to be welded together, so I wasn't sure.

Mine is bent up some and it's affecting the hood latch and bumper height such that it doesn't meet up with the hood properly.

Yes. You drill out the welds and weld a new one in.

Otherwise pull it out until it's right.

It's just sheet metal. The weld on the bottom is just a tack, you can break it fairly easy. At the top, it's all bolted together.

Screwdriver and a hammer. Nothing to it.

Unfortunately I'm booked up until at least Sunday.
