I removed the word "ECLIPSE" now I can't get the imprint it left on the center piece off. I got all the sticky crap off, but you can still see the word from certain angles. I think the center piece might be faded and where the word used to be it isn't, is there some polish that will completely get rid of the rest or do I have to wait for that to fade also?
I guess I could paint it, but for now I'd like to just clean the center piece completely.

Go to the auto part store and look for a product put out by KIT. It is a small yellow bottle of scratch out. It is a very mild rubbing compound. It will fix it right up.

that Kit stuff sucks! i took it back and got my money back. i got the turtle wax rubbing compound. but that was for the body not the tail lights. it might work for that but it is extremely mild. if it's thick or something i don't know if i'd use it. maybe though

OK. here you go. It's residue that is baked in. I assume. Get som goo gone and windex. Maybe sme oops stuff. Load it with windex. Then goo gone or oops. Now, take a fnger or thumb and just bare down and rub it. The shit should flake off kinda like dried elmer's glue.
