since the pits are back so shortly after xmas, its only fitting that we have one of these threads.

i got money for stuff for the new car, casino dvd, aqua teen hunger force season 4 dvd, UM mini football helmet, gift cards, cds, clothes, santana moss jersey, nba live 06 for xbox, brothers in arms: earned in blood for xbox, age of empires collectors edition, promise ring from the gf, scarface figure with montana next to the cadillac, mcfarlane military figure, posters, shot glass case, and i got myself the new car. all in all, i did pretty good.

what all did everyone else get?

I got a sirius satellite receiver. I listen to Hard Attack nearly 24/7 now.

I also was given a pair of Guns'N'Roses pajama pants. I am so metal.

I got a watch, a digicam, and a coupla shirts, only one of which isn't the ugliest thing known to man. I also snagged some boxers still in the wrapper from my brother's drawer.

oh, and I bought myself a truck! (and a pair of jeans, a pair of shoes, 3 sweaters, some shirts, etc.) Merry christmas to ME!!!

This actually made me remember this...a few days ago espn was doing this thing on wide recievers in the NFL and their ferocious egos. I can't remember which one it was, but one of them was frolicking along the field after a play going "I LOVE ME! I LOVE ME! I LOVE ME SOME ME!"

I highly prefer the channel lineup on Sirius to XM. There is absolutely *NO* (good) metal on XM, and that's the deciding factor for me. I don't really listen to anything other than Channel 27.

XM's equipment is cheaper, but the monthly cost is roughly the same. Almost all the addon reciever kits have a builtin, programmable FM modulator, too.. so install of either company's stuff is as easy as running the antenna wire and mounting the unit.

Not to my knowledge.

xm charges extra for stuff like the playboy channel. sirius is just one flat rate for everything. also sirius was the first to go flat out NO COMMERCIALS. xm started out with limited commercials and a lower rate but eventually follow sirius's plan after sirius entered the market. xm's the larger company and has a year's headstart but sirius has repeatedly taken what XM does and made it better. oh yea and sirius's stations kick ass too

i'm just hoping they bring it here eventually...

I got some clothes and money. Then with the money I bought a Hurst short throw shifter. Then I bought myself a present which is a 20G Ipod for $50 because I knew the chick that was selling it and it has a crack in the screen but it still works fine and you can see most of what your doing.

What made me decide was when she was willing to get up under the car with me and helped me while I was fixing my car.

I came home to Maryland after being away for a month and a half to find that someone hit my Talon with a snow blower. The passenger rear quarter panel has about four 6-8" scratches down to the metal and a very large dent right behind the door. Merry Christmas to me.

Oh and I got a little money for rent, a few DVDs, and some socks.

I got some tools, which are always handy, some sentimental 'DAD' stuff from the kids, a t-shirt that says D.A.D.D (dads against daughters dating) with the picture of a gun on the back, a mini-karaoke machine (?), a mag-lite, house pants & a cool blanket (as if it gets cold her, perhaps from the a/c that ran yesterday ), some cash & gift cards

and these rims.

this was a good christmas for me! I got wheels/tires from my dad plus some cash and dvd's, cash and clothes from my mom, 4gig ipod nano and a dvd from the girlfriend, and some other little stuff from relatives, oh and i bought myself tein basic dampers, hrc 3" downpipe, magnaflow 3" cat, thermal R&D 3" catback, zeitronix wideband/lcd package, and a new front lip! Christmas time rocks

This was the first year I went out and spent some decent money on parents and the g/f. It felt good to be giving something this year rather than always receiving.

Santa was good to me. Real good. Got an Evo IX. Never thought I'd get a car this nice, and on top of it all, my wife loves it! Well for the holiday period i decided to present my self and my family (mostly myself) with a component Home Theater System :-D. Which cost me more than half of my talon but it sounds soo good the turns in to

ahh a new fiance an 06 lancer....indirectly giving some 16yr old kid a 13sec eclipse from my trade in, a new dell laptop, and a bunch of random things for me, from me.

Couple movies, WSOP for PS2, lots of Anime DVD's (like the Trigun box set and some Samurai Champloo DVD's), some gift cards, leather gloves and $. Bought myself a new wallet, internal and external hard drives, and cologne.
