Is it possible? Yes, I have seen VERY clean MIG welds before with aluminum.

That is a VERY nice manifold. I was coming up with a design last year when I made my exhaust manifold, and it was simular to that, kind of like the Fast Fab design.

I want one.

Yes, we all want! If mark would hurry and get that thing and see what all has to be done in order to run the throttle cable and stuff, then Mike from neons.org might be willing to build more. Either way, I have looked at those pics 20 times and I still smile when I see those runners.

2 sets of injectors is better than 1 =)

Damn, you been talking to Mike today? Lol, I JUST tried fitment today (my ADD kicked in while I was putting 450's onto the OBX intake) and Mike is the only one who knows.

I got some pics, but putfile is giving me a problem. I gotta get another host and then I'll post up.

(First off, sorry for the large pictures. I used photobucket for the first time and they must have some large settings. Oops).

OK, so it did not look good:

I tried to get her to fit but the 2 studs on the head were getting in the way. Oddly enough there was no problem with clearance at the firewall, it was the heater hoses and other wire management that I had to get by. So I took one stud off the head with the double nut treatment;

and I was able to get her in;

Looks kinda funny all flat and shit! Don't worry about all the wires and hoses. I know I will need to manage those once it gets all back together. But as you can see it gets tight by the throttle body area.

So on goes the MP60mm;

That's gonna get messy and tight. Let's take a look at the intake area;

Yup that's tight and low. And that's with a 1/2 size Integra battery. So I took a look at it with my larger pipe ram air and my smaller AEM intake.

RAM AIR

AEM INTAKE (I know it's 90* off)

The larger intake (which I have to use) just won't make that area. You can see if I use the smaller pipe AEM, then it will fit.

So I will need to relocate my battery (I'm going to put it up front where my old stock airbox used to be).

As for the throttle cable, pretty simple and straight forward;

You can see that it reaches fine, and all I have to do is mark it, drill it and tap it. Very straight forward (did not do this yet because I don't have the tap and drill bit on me). But no problem there.

Now for the Coup de Gras. The injectors and rail. Think about what a pain in the ass it is to change these out with the C-shaped stocker. Not too much fun. BUT, with this intake, here's how I put the rail on;

TA DA! It's almost worth it for just this access. You can see at the top of the pic that I left the ratchet in place where the socket just goes straight through. Ahhhh, the ease of installation

Now this was just a fitment install. I haven't done a complete install yet. As a matter of fact, I put the OBX back on after I put the 450's in it. I will be taking that set-up to the dyno with my next "goody" installed first. That will be thanks to Mark P.

You could mount a stock upper manifold to fake people out with that one vertical bracket. That would be nuts.

Can't wait to see video, man!

Interested to see how it will perform. How much room is there before it hits the firewall (its hard to tell in the pics)?

Sorry, as I said, I already stuck the OBX back on after putting in the 450's. I can't measure now, but there is "enough" room. Not a lot, but enough that it is not really a problem to the firewall (as long as you take out that one stud to get by the initial "bump" in the firewall). BUT the problems lies in the heater hose area. That's where I had to be sure that I had all my wires and tubing managed out of the way so the intake/throttle body would fit.

I guess thats going to be a problem with a portfueler. Any idea if it could be made 1" shorter?

I would imagine so. I can see getting the portfueler in the mix. But I'm going to leave that answer up to Mike.

Had to bring this back up for results. Due to circumstances beyond my control, it took this long to get her to the dyno. Couldn't get separate comparisons between OBX intake and Mikes, but his set-up has now broken the 200whp barrier (203.8whp). With very nice throttle response (which kinda surprised me).

I highly recommend it.

Thanks Mike.

So after you get the fuel problem figured out, what is next on the list?
