Ok so it's just about time to replace my brakes I've been running EBC yellow pads and rotors. But I have a fully built motor and turbo to go on the car so I want to upgrade the brakes with out braking the bank. I've been looking into the 3000gt upgrade but there is no "this is what you need list" I can find. If someone has this that would be awesome.

You just need the bigger rotors, dual piston calipers, and caliper mounting brackets, and brake lines for those calipers. And of course brake pads.

here are a couple other upgrades.
this ones some serious stopping power cts-v brakes.

This is with Outlander Rotors

What Bigger rotors? And the 3kgt is a 4 pistion caliper. And I know I'll need to buy or make the brackets to mount the calipers I can't find a place to buy them tho.

The outlander swap isint worth it to me I really wanna upgrade to a better looking and better performing caliper. The cts-v swap is cool but not budget and also don't like the idea of stacking brake pads to make up for rotor thickness.

The rotors are bigger than the Basic brake rotors. Oh your talking about the 4 piston calipers. Okay, the 3000gt had dual piston calipers and the VR4 had the 4 piston ones. Im not sure if you need more with the 4 piston ones. It might be hard to find the 4 piston calipers for cheap but theres always used ones on ebay but you'll definitely the mounting brackets with them.

Yeah I did and I don't recall finding the info I needed. Theres plenty on info on the gsx swap all over the place. Maybe I should have been a little more spacific I'm looking for info on swapping to the VR4 4 pistion calipers and rotors. If that info is in the sticky I did not see it so a link would be cool. I use my phone to view the site so sometimes things get over looked

This one may help you. You need a special bracket to mount the calipers

Heres a kit with the brackets. Hope you have bigger then 16" wheels to fit these.

That second one is basically what I'm looking for although 150 bux for the brackets and lines seams a little high to me. And it still leaves the question about what year cobra rotors to get. I work for a shop so the calipers pads and rotors I can get at cost if know what car they are for.
