#33632, "Power steering?"

So, I just finished looking at my engine bay and it is a jumble of wires and hoses. So... I have decided to do a engine harness tuck and get rid of everything not necesary. Can anyone tell me how much harder it is to drive with out power steering?

Remove the belt and find out for yourself. Then put the belt back on.

The motor is already out of the car. So I am debating on putting it back in.. I guess I will just install the motor without it, and if it is too hard to steer then I will install it back on.

3000 lb car bro. Youre gonna want power steering, as said, unless its a gutted drag car. Its definately possible to drive without it, but get used to hand over hand pulling on the steering wheel.

I've had mine off for years. The only time steering is hard is when at a complete stop. Once you get it rolling, everything is fine.

Anyone know anyone who can help me tune this in the Pittsburgh area (Greensburg)?

ditto.

had to drive w/o it for about a year until i could fix my R&P leak. it sucked balls.

it's kinda fun driving on the freeway b/c you definitely "feel" the car more. you get force feedback on harder turns and stuff.

parking lots are another story. you'll be that asshole holding up traffic and looking like a dumbass fighting with your steering wheel.
