will fit, but too much um... sidewall, will hang over a bit, quite a bit, i have 225/45/17 on a 17x7 wheel, and mine stick out a bit, but not too bad, for a 235 you'd want a 7.5 or a 8" wide rim. that's just too fat a tire for a 7"er.

why 235s? 215/45 or 225/45 are the closest to stock rolling diameter.

I did it before with the Toyos and it was fine, but the way I drive it wasn't that good of a set up. In a hard turn the tire would fold a bit. If you can go with a 215/45/17 I have run alot of sizes and I have the best luck with that.

i just bought some 7.5x17 rims and yea they stick out just a lil but it'll help you not scratch your rims. they seem to work just fine

I got a good deal on tires that i couldnt pass up. I hope they look ok.
