I have the red kit on mine and it looks sweet.

But it does one more thing besides look good. They last longer than rubber. And they don't dry out and get brittle. For anyone who has done work on an old motor this is a huge problem with rubber vacuum lines. The silicone ones shouldn't get brittle and crack... causeing vacuum eaks and drops in performance.

Yup get the kit from Road Race Engineering. Its only 20 bucks, and I have the blue one. It replaces all the vacuum hoses, but you shouldn't replace any high pressure hoses like coolant hoses (besides the overflow hose).

Rubber hoses work just fine, you can get one from any parts store. If you want to dress it up you can get braides steel kits to put over them fairly cheap. Braided steel should also help reduce the expansion due to heat and pressure in the hose and give it a better life... hopefully

Either way you need a specific radiator hose for the upper and lower hoses to handle the pressure being put through them.

Pacesetter makes this baddass hose call a RADHOZ. It's like stanless steel I think, but I think it costs 100+. I can never find the pacesetter brand either just some other no name brand. Just get one of dem rubber hoses (from the dealer I guess) and use that stainless steel stuff like they said.

For the record, the hoses are made of silicone. Silicon might wind up being a bit stiff for the application.

I have the larson kit in red!! Looks great, easy install, and not too stiff!! I also had the pacesetter radhoz (spelling??). It was harder than hell to find, I got it a year ago. Check out my link below for pix! Pacesetter direct told me its no longer produced. Summit makes a nice flex steel hose like the radhoz. I'm thinking of picking that up for the lower radiator hose Either way, definately LOOKS NICE!
