#227, "can i use 2 head gaskets"

i hear our head gaskets suck....so can i run 2 for safety or should i just run one thick one and WHO makes head gaskets for our car (quality ones) will i see a loss of power due to the thicker gasket combo????

Yeah...I have a question

Since I'll be needing to replace my HG soon...can I use two MOPAR MLS ones, or is one enough? (I have boost, but I don't want it to go again!)

ive had the MLS headgasket for about a year now and havent had a prob with it. if you have a turbo using more than one gasket will lower your compression and might be benifical. the only problem i could see you having with multiple head gaskets is the torque specs might change but i am not shure. i remember reading about the neon srt concept car with the super charger used 2 or 3 head gaskets to lower compression and i remember someone saying EIP includes multiple head gaskets in their turbo kits for VW's.

go to http://www.headgasket.com for good high quality copper HG or the factory MLS HG(multilayer steel). I have the copper HG and so does Eric R.
