So I replaced the wiring harness in my 99gs with a harness out of a 97gs and I need to know if I should put an ecu from a 97 in it? I already have the part # for that computer. I tried the 99 ecu I had for it and I get nothing, no check lights or anything on the dash except the door light? Any input would be appreciated

The ECU pin out as different. You will need the ECU from the same year as the harness.

Alternatively, and more time consuming, you may be able to repin the harness if you have the right tools

Thanks for the response, I forgot to mention that it was a partial harness, ie just the fuse panel with associated connections, the ecu connections are the original
