I think the previous owner used red loctite or something on this block. The flexplate -to-crank bolts are in so tight, and no matter how I rig this, the plate keeps turning when I try to loosen them. I may have to drop the oil pan and place a block of wood near the crank to keep it from rotation. any tips?

NVM - Used the block of wood to stop the crank, worked perfect. In case anyone doesn't have an impact wrench, this way always works to loosen flexplate bolts.
