#138061, "60mm throttle body on an auto?"

Hey, guys. I am finally picking up a nice 2GNT to eventually replace my tired and rotting '95. It's an OZ edition in black with every option minus ABS (and bone stock!). But, it's auto. Will a MP 60mm TB affect drivability on the auto and will it mess up anything transmission related? I know that the auto cars had a smaller TB from the factory than the manual cars, so I want to ask before I start swapping things over from my '95. I had to take a loan out to get this, so doing the tranny swap will have to wait. Thanks.

I thought it was the other way around. Every MTX 2gnt I've owned had the smaller 49mm TB. Haven't owned an ATX. My brother is huge into neons and the ATX DOHC neons had the 52mm TB's. It shouldn't mess anything up, just a little more get up and go. I think the whole reason the ATX ones had a bigger throttle body was because they were slower to accelerate so they gave them a bump with the 52mm.

And I know first hand that a DOHC neon TB will swap onto a 420a Intake manifold.

Are the later autos stronger, or should I think about using a PT turbo auto?
