I can't tell how good this works out. I have run this set-up on my daily for thousands of miles; winter, spring, summer, fall (btw that is my curent daily I used for the write up). I have run this set-up on the 570whp 420a turbo car with ZERO cooling problems. I have run this set-up on a turbo 4G63 with no problems. I have Honda buddies (one currently at a pump gas 450whp tune on his daily) that run these all the time with no problems.
The extra space that it gives you is well, phenomenal. For NA I get cold air pushed right up to the Ram air intake and for turbo, I move it to the other side and it allows me room for a big ole turbo and mani.
In a addition, there is actually a weight savings involved. You might lose another 6-8lbs in coolant from your car, lol.
