DON"T use slick 50... anything. But our cars use ATF for power steering fluid. Dextron II or Dextron III. Our hydrolic clutch used the same stuff.

Little Rock Mitsu uses regular power steering fluid in all mitsubishi cars. They gave me a bottle the last time I was in for some parts. When chrysler changed my rack and pinion, lines and powersteering pump, they used regular power steering fluid to fill it up. Chrysler and Mitsu in Little Rock are joint dealerships. The manual recommends ATF and if I lived in subzero temps throughout the year, I would probably use it. BTW: I use Dot 4 synthetic brake fluid for my clutch. I removed the restrictor and flushed the system. No problems after 1 1/2 years.

Yeah you could use regular but you would have to make sure you drained all the old stuff out. Don't want to mix ATF and PS fluid. I'm in Chicago and we get some low temps, so I'll probably stick with Dextron III.

Deano do you know if the Stainless Steel Clutch line from RRE will fit the NT? When I do the clutch restictor mod if I can get a SS line I'll put one in, I asked RRE and they weren't sure a while ago.
