This past weekend, XtremeRS and I ran a compression check now that I have the car broken in. I got 196 196 196 200 on JE 8.8:1 pistons, Total Seal rings, and a slightly milled head. I was expecting around 170-180, but I'll take it

sounds good.. and about right.. I thought the 9.6:1's in perfect form get around 215-220 psi. altitude also changes the psi in the chamber while the compression ratio doesn't change.

hey Greg, i thought that Total Seal rings weren't recommended for street or daily use because it wouldn't allow the oil to properly lubricate the cylinder walls? i remember reading that they were best for total drag applications or something like that.
