Not really. There is a 'car show' on saturday the 14th at the track and the SO is Sunday the 15th - gates at Norwalk open at 8am.

I think everything shootout related you register for at the track. everyone pays to get in, then if you wanna race you go to the staging area and register there with the pit official, so I assume for the show it's the same thing. There is nothing too formal about this event. It's all fly by the seat of your pants type stuff. Just show up and go with the flow
