i just put in a new transmission in my car. all gears are fine but when im in third, my shifter knob vibrates. and it is only when i accelerate. is this normal?

I used to get this in my old transmission but im not sure why. How violent is it?

the vibration isnt that bad. its just something i noticed that only happens in third.

I say check all your cables maybe you have a cotter pin thats loose? Possible a clip clamp on the cable came loose?

Other then that im not too sure, also try checking all of your mounts.
