#3326, "5TH gear question for tranny guys"

My 5th still pops out of gear. RARELY though, yet it still pops out. What parts of the 5th gear are to blame? It pops outrandomly, a load on the car is not even necessary. I can go up a hill and it can be fine, floored. Also, are blocker rings interchangeable from the gears on the input shafts? some are not worn as others. i have a second input shaft and i think some of the blocker rings looked better than the one i have on.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

How much would a new 5th gear cost, and what else would I need/should replace? Would I be better off rebuilding the trans or is a kit even made for that?
Thanks

Prices anyone?
Also, if I keep it out of 5th until I fix it, will everything be ok? or can it still cause a problem?
