My clutch has recently been acting wierd with noises and i took it to a shop and they said i might need a new one. I've been looking around and reading info and i came up with the ACT 2100. It seems like the clutch for me. Anyone have any experience or hearsay about this clutch? Also where's the cheapest place to buy a new one? Thanks

Is ACT making them for us now? They've had the kit out for the GS-T/GS-X but I didn't think they had one for us...

I would look into CLutchmasters (a lot of people here have them and love them). Also check out SPEC clutches, Howell carries them and others do too. The Neons guys like them (same clutch so...) And Motofool from the board here has come out with a custom set of clutches you could pick from, for varying powerratings.

I just checked howell's website and found the spec stage 1 for 389...after doing a little hunting i found the same kit "95-99 Talon 2.0L Non-Turbo Stage 1 - Clutch Kit w/ Organic Street Disc - Steel Flywheel Included. 295 lb-ft SD851 $ 329.95" Is that a good deal for that clutch and would this be a decent upgrade from the stock clutch?

Yes that would be a good upgrade from stock clutch. Great for a car with bolt ons. But look into what you plan for the future if you are planning on slapping on a turbo, and pushing some good boost number, or spraying alot of nitrous, then I would look towards the stage 2. Just depends on what your plans are.
