why doesnt the 420a trans not have a trans cooler. could you get one for the trans. i have been thinking that for a while now.

it does have a transcooler like most cars. The cooler is a liguid to liquid cooler in the radiator

On a manual, it's not necessary. On the auto, there's a cooler built into the radiator.

i know auto's have trans coolers. its on the bottom of the rad. but the manuals dont have one at all. how does it keep cool when we put the pedal to the metal.

It doesn't have to. It never reaches a temperature where heat is a concern. Heat doesn't kill MTX's, lack of lubrication or incorrect fluids do.
