Which would u guys use. ams oil claims a upgrade over atf +4. But it is a substitute.

Just use Mopar atf+4 you can get at your local walmart or try Advance auto parts Atf+4 both are the same but Advance auto ATF+4 is cheaper. I use the advance atf-4 with Lucas oil Trans Fix, not sure about the ams oil

for a 1996 I would ONLY use ATF+3

1998 dodge avenger 4 cyl AT
