I know the gap in stock n/a eclipses are that a manual is around .5-1.0 sec's faster than a auto,and thats kind of alot.So if you put a turbo kit on is it still just as slow(considering its a turboed auto vs turboed manual) or if the difference smaller because auto can build boost from a stop.

well from my limited knowledge....auto can spool from a stop...manual cant. So it will help you off the line more than it helps a man. Except for that...im not sure if a turbod auto will run closer than .5-1 second over a turbo man. Maybe someone else can help you out on that.

My All motor eclipse was just as fast as Skillionaire's A/T Star Stage 2 at 7 psi except I would lose a little ground when I had to shift and he didn't.

Are you kidding? A NT Manual was neck and neck with a AT eclipse at 7 PSI??????? I can't see that happening, but I am not calling you a liar either. Maybe his wires and plugs were all burned out or something.

My car had full bolt ons, ported intake manifold, No cat, and Mutany Raceworx regrind drag cams and was a little lighter than his car since I was an RS and he was a GS. I already had a blown 3rd gear synchro so we ran in 2nd gear and when I went to shift to 3rd I lost about a car length since the blown synchro shift takes forever. Then we lined back up and ran up to around 110 and let off side by side. His car had been dynoed around 170 HP when he got the kit on.

When RobotechDSM first got his stage 1 kit on and was running 4 psi I beat him but then he got a test pipe and was able to take me at 6 psi non intercooled by about a car or so.

Was anything wrong with his car???

just wondering, those numbers just seem low. i dynoed at 184whp/183ft-lbs @ 7psi and then 202whp/201ft-lbs on 9psi w/ a s16g. The star kit should make more power at the same boost level. That was also on a 96*F day w/ 98% humidity :/

ATX->MTX Swap
Holset HX40 @ 26 psi

I think he dynoed at 4 psi or something cause he didn't have the boost controller on yet.

Yeah, I'll race you in Kris or Craig's car, God knows my 2002 Corolla or 1992 S10 can't get faster than 18's and your 1G is fast as balls for the few mods you have!

Of course, TRD is releasing a SUPERCHARGER for the Corolla...
