SUBJECT: CHANGED ACCUMULATOR RETURN SPRING (F4AC1 TRANSAXLE) - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
This bulletin has corrected information concerning the underdrive accumulator spring. The underdrive accumulator is changed from a single type spring to a double type.
Write the TSB revision number of this bulletin in the "TSB Revision" box at the bottom of the affected service manual page.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
1996-98 Eclipse 2.0L non-turbo equipped with the F4AC1 automatic transaxle
i had to pix a few of these at work earlier this week .. so i just wanted to warn those of u who havent gotten this fixed yet i should have the directions on how to repair this later this week

no you should be fine. i upgraded all of my springs to dual springs per the instructions. that is from '98. so i guess if you got your kit before then, you may want to revise.
