Hey all, we're going to set up a Socal meet to go to the Import Revolution show at Anaheim convention center (http://www.importrevolution.com). The show is from 4 pm to 11 pm, so I guess it's kind of like a mix of showoff/hot import nights.

For those that want to eat before the show, we are going to go to the Red Lobster in Brea at the Brea mall at 2 pm.

Brea mall is on the way to the show in Anaheim for most people (right off the 57 freeway), but in case some people want to meet up in Anaheim, let me know and I will find a good place for us to meet right before the show.

Also, I just checked www.importrevolution.com and the tickets are 25 bucks. Does anyone know if they are any discount flyers?

Let's get a list of who's going. Hope you all can make it. This will probably be the last Socal meet I can attend until October because I will be going out of state.

I'll try to make it. Not quite sure since it's Memorial Day weekend and I may head out to Lake Havasu. We'll see once the time gets closer. Also can someone confirm these directions from mapquest? Its tells me to take I-5N then take 57N toward pomona then 90 towards Brea. exit Imperial highway and right onto state college blvd? sounds right to those that are more familiar with the area?

Yeah it seems like the majority doesnt like seafood, so it doesnt matter to me where we go. Im pretty flexible and I like TGIFridays... but McDonalds... it just brings back bad memories of working there and knowing the stuff that went on with the food . So, have u guys decided on where to meet yet? How bout Souplantation? Its a 20 min drive from the convention center. Plus, we'll be able to eat for cheap. Because Im not sure if Im driving or if my friend is driving and I doubt he's going to want to drive 20mins pass the show + back to the show in order to eat. Let me know because i want to go.

If I remember right, I think it is 20 mins past the convention center (for us coming up from the north, 10 and 60 freeways). We can maybe find a place to eat, and meet up in two groups, then all meet somewhere by the convention center and go to the show.

yeah, i will probably just meet you guys at the show. I can barely afford the show ($25 bux is rediculous), in addition to gas, food, and maybe parking.

But i might not even be able to go cause i might have to work. Also if i don't have my car back by then (its at RRE getting head gasket swap) i won't go either. So don't count me in for sure.

Extreme autofest is $18 for pre-sale tickets, $25 to display your car(includes ticket), $45 for you car to compete(includes 2 tickets). I think i may just enter my car for $25 just to say my car was in a show.

Ya Ian you should definitely enter your car, and take a ton of pics of it in the show as a memory. We had a post a while ago about what day would be better (autofest, or import revolution) and most people said import revolution which is why we picked that. Let's all just meet by the convention center for us that can't make it to souplantation. It is quite a drive for a free lunch. Thanks for the offer though Mikey. Let's just meet at any fast food place nearby the convention center.

Here's a quick map of the Carl's Jr, but look up the directions to be exact. Most of us coming from the 57 will just exit on Katella and head west towards the Carl's Jr. If you hit the 5 freeway, then you went too far. Or vice versa from those coming from the 5 freeway.
