#6240, "a little faster, new best 15.173 @ 90.70 at NED last night"

It doesn't beat the old time by much at all, but faster is faster. I've been trying out a different launch technique and it seems to be working so far. I don't have the slip scanned yet but when I do I'll post it up.

I know I would have liked to see a 14.999 instead like fotowntalon did (real nice job btw!) but I am definitely encouraged.

Here are the highlights:

60' 2.206 (yes that is my best on these tires, and I could not believe it)

1/8 9.739 @ 71.10
1/4 15.173 @ 90.70

Car is still on stock ECU. Yes 15.1s on stock ecu running too rich with too little timing and not enough rpms. Yes I know, get the megasquirt back in there...figure out what to do with it.... Yes I'd be in 14s with it up and running.... hopefully this winter I'll get a chance to work on it if someone can help out with it (send me your msq file! lol)

As for racing, had a few good runs, two in the 15.2s, two in the 15.3s, and a few inconsistent 15.6, 15.7s spinning off the line, heheh.

Ran against some pickups (beat 2 of them), my best run I bested a V8 mustang (late 90s early 2000s or so, 4.6L, admittedly he messed up his launch but whatever, lol), got dusted by a ZO6 vette, a couple of other mustangs, an old nova, the usual when you only run low 15s.

Overall September always seems to be the best time to run, especially between 6pm and 8pm, when you get nice cool dense air but before it gets too cold and you just spin off the line.

I'll be trying again next weekend on the 25th, last import event of the year, and hopefully one more time not long after that.

Damn that time is insane for stock ecu, I personally find it about worthless about the 5500rpm rank. I've probably asked you this before but whats your mod list? Maybe I just need driving lessons =P.
*edit* just realized you beat my 60' as well. Also saw your other post of your mods. You are doing amazing for your set-up. I think I may just need to invest in a CAI for the track.

Got that right. Congrats, my man. Excellent work for the stock ECU.
