Those that have gone from the stock tranny to the 3.55. Have you noticed a big difference in where you need to launch from? Where do you launch your car from RPM wise now with your 3.55? Trying to see if I am around the same area.

around 3000-3500. It does allow you to really lay into it as your clutch grabs and create some heat for the turbo.

3500 has seemed to prove the best launch for me, i'm also running the quaife in my 3.55



96' eclipse gs, 2gb conversion
built bottom end, crane #16 cams, hx40 pro billet, MS1 v3 MSn'S-E, 3.55 trans, quaife lsd

it's the final off select neon 5-spds. swap is popular for high hp guys who loose lower gears seem to dissappear, also give lower RPM on highway.
