quite a few people here drift, that being one of the easiest ways to do it. so far i havent really run into no problems. but i know Hades has bent hubs and others have slid into curbs destroying there wheels and or suspension and brakes.

That would be me... I hit a curb and pretty much jacked up my car. If you are gonna do it, do it where you have plenty of room. Dont be like me and get people in your car and start showing off on side streets.

with a full tank of gas my car will slide with out the e-brake (in snow that is But when you first try it make sure you don't forget to hold the button in so the brake doesn't stay on! I pop'd a 180 in my CR-X back in the day like that.

Just take it SLOWLY and try it and see how the car responds.
after you learn how your car responds you can take it faster with better control.

bwahahah did someone call?? It's not called powerbraking, it's called ebrake drifting. Its really beautiful when you can do it right but it slows you down a lot Remember the ebrake is a very handy tool in a FF car, haha or how I like to call it the drift lever! There really aren't any big disadvantages to ebraking but some could be: it's slows you down like hell because your dragging the back (FF was not meant to drift), it can give your tires bald spots, haha like they said you could oversteer onto a curb and have a 3 legged eclipse like me, and it could mess up your alignment if you do it too much.

Wahaha you can also find out what trayin is!

hehe watch this movie and see it in action: (it's an album sorry the files are rather large, download the autoxing movie you'll see what ebrake drifting is there)

Who sez FF can't drift?
