Are these good shift point even when turbo and running 9psi? I usually drop the clutch around 3k for the launch.I know in first gear boost starts to drop some after 5k but is pretty steady in 2nd and 3rd gear
from the 2gnt faq page:
"These are the shift points used: 1st gear: 5800 2nd gear: 7200 3rd gear: 6500 - 7200 4th gear: 7000 (when shifiting, don't let off the gas, and release the clutch FAST).

It would depend on where your power drops off, if at all. I'd probably shift at redline since I doubt with your setup you're really dropping out of your power band significantly. and I always lift to shift, that's just me but if you're having spooling problems keeping your foot on the throttlw would be a better idea.

I lift for my 1-2 shift. At 18 PSI 1st gear is either gone in a heart beat or I'm too busy trying to feather it out of the hole praying for traction. Every other shift past that I'm within 500 RPM of redline and the gas pedel never leaving the floor.
I guess I should add that second gear can be as equally worthless...I've never ponied up for slicks so I think it's time to invest in a EBC with gear dependant boost or something.
