Aite guys.. those on the spray.. (preferably 80shots).. When do you spray when racing off the line? I know if u spray at all in first gear you're gonna spin the tires right? Reason i ask is cuz i wanna get the full potential out of the bottle on a full run. Advice guys?

I used to run a 85shot and I would wait till the top of 1st, beginning of 2nd to spray. Just depended on the prep at the track. Out of the whole is a definate no no. I made my best run of 14.1@98mph by feathering the clutch off the line, going about 90% throttle till about 5500 rpms, then WOT and powershifting into 2nd gear. Got a little bit of spin but nothing too bad. Drop your tire pressure in the front a bit and try to raise the pressure in the rear. Takes practice, but you'll get it. Good luck!

That makes absolutely no sense. This isn't the fast and the furious where you have a button that you hit everytime you want to spray. Once you go WOT, your spraying through the whole gear. Not just the beginning. Spray through the begining of first and you will say good by to traction.

2nd, 3rd, 4th above 3K. 1st gear is a waste, and its been said that spraying in 5th causes damage to the trans...plus if your doing the 1/4 youll never get into OD unless you have a few more mods than nitrous.

Actually most nitrous setup use a switch on the shifter or in the cabin and not a gay microswitch on the throttle. Doesnt sound liek you know exactly what you are talking about or you just dont underrstand fundamental nitrous setups. Oracle was not wrong in his preferences.

zex uses a throttle switch
NX uses a throttle switch

thats the two main ones besides NOS and you never really hear that much about them much on here.

at least with a switch on the throttle wether it is mechanical or electrical
you can keep both hands on the wheel

Those are supplied because of inexperienced people using nitrous. ZEX is a perfect example of the idiot proof nitrous attmept.

cool your jets bro. I have a NOS kit with a micro switch, It's safer and makes it so you dont have to pay so much attention to to it. You can focus on the road better.
