If he says he is running in the 15's with no mods and all that stereo weight(even if he took it out)its kinda hard to belive. Even with a manual. But it could be a factory freak once again. I want to see the time slip. Like ^^^^said, if your in the 15's than you should have no problem.

will post more pics when front is painted

As a matter of fact I just took one out about 15 minutes ago. A brand new DX. I don't even think it was worth running.

I would also like to know how you run 15's in a stock RS even without all that weight you carry.
Have you even been to the track? Just curious.......

I'm pretty sure my car was a high 15 sec car when it was stock, and I know it is now with only a short ram. When I was stock I was running 10.0 1/8 times.

either way... you can shift at 6K and still beat his ass. No way he'll beat you if you're in the 15's.

I dont believe that your stock car runs high 15's sorry...
you're at least mid 16's. I have a factory freak, I would just naturally kill other eclipses with the same mods. I only ran a 15.9 with intake (cold) and exhaust. Not trying to bash, but dont be a ricer... If you've got time slips to back it up thats cool. i'll eat my words. BTW short ram sounds cool, but dosn't do much compared to coldair...

Collente, just because your car runs that, doenst mean there arent faster. If you came on here and said what he just said, would u want some people doing this nonsense. High 15's is not hard, with a good driver it is believable. If he came on sayin he was runnin low 15's or even mid 15's i woul dhave to say i dont believe also. But dont come on here saying that you ahve a factory freak and you dont believe that he does too... thats stupid logic

wow... a 15.9 with an Intake AND Exhaust? I believe what's his name was running 15.5's in his with a cracked short ram and exhaust. I think I'm pretty close to it with just a short ram. what do you run in the 1/8th mr. factory freak?

Just breaking into 15s is possible with a good launch, a CAI and exhaust, and a "regular" engine. I did it with a CAI, GS-T muffler, and AGX shocks (adjusted to help the launch).

But it's not going to happen without a GOOD launch, and no a 2.4 60' is NOT a good launch.

My car is not a factory freak. The 14 inch rims and stock 195 tires do help, but the engine itself doesn't seem to me to be especially better than any other properly running and maintained 420A.

The launch is very important. I think alot of people could be in the high 15s with more practice (and if they ran the right rims and tires).

Or the guy is a freak driver...(no offense man ) but yeah, what is with those cars anyhow? ecu or somethin?

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Sorry guys I was being an asshole. I guess thats not hard to believe, I was just being bitter
Anyway to Adam, the response of the running 15.5 with 'cracked' short ram is a little hard to believe. I believe the fastest n/a on the board is running a 15.4 (VX100), Just a thought. Sorry about the bashing, Im eating my works
