ya, so i rolled on 14s to see if i could get better times.. thats a definate NO... my best 60ft was a 2.8, wtf??? worst was a 3.1 that leaded to a 18.2 at 81 (although i beat this 4dr. geo metro, hehe)

i did a phat burnout on em, which made up for all the wheel spin i was gettin..

the 14s just dont werk well w/my style i guess... i tried droppin the clutch at 3k, and spun all the into second, and about half of second til they caught, and then boggd like crazy...

one cool thing is that my buddy in his "stock" nt impreza smoked a turbo integra pushin 6lbs...

neways, i need turbo, and i need it bad!!!!!

Before adding more power...get the power you have hooked up! I'm sure that you can get your 60ft's down with some work on 14's. I got a 2.27 60ft with my 110HP Probe GL on 185/70 14's (firestone hockey pucks!). I launch at around 3600-4000 with NO burnout. I just spin enough to clean them off. Alot of heat with street tires is a no-no. Drag radials yes..but normal street tires no. Do you go thru the waterbox?? If so..don't..go around. The water gets in the treads and comes out when you go to launch. You just have to get the right rpm's for a no bog and a little spin. I spin from the start all through 1st and hook in 2nd with my probe and get good 60ft's. How do you shift? That makes a difference too. I just hold it to the floor...and power shift most of the time. What is your air pressure? That could do it too..drop it down to 20psi or so if you have to. Try all that stuff...make the car use all the power it has...before you add more.

Don't drop the clutch, just come out like normal driving so it hooks with no spin or bog.

couldnt have put it better if i tried!! i feel your pain bro.. my 60s are kicking my ass because i get too hyped up when i see the lights drop.. and instead of feathering it out, i jump on it and straight drop the clutch... wheel spin all over the place.. just takes practice, and dont get down on the 2gnt.. hell, so far, my best 60 was when i had just headers, short ram and exhaust (2.4ish). the more track work, the better.

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^
