i think the regular kit includes a downpipe..

what was custom 'bout the DP you ordered youkickedmydog?

ok here's the reason for the offset and what the regular DP is like. the regular DP included with the kit is a 90* elbow that bolts onto the STOCK pipe. you need that offset on the mani to line up with it. pretty original solution IMO. better than say, cutting the stock pipe and clamping a tube on it

still, it's probably not that great for exhaust flow
