No, you have a couple of things confused here.

The service fitting is for FUEL. The fuel leads into a FPR on the IN side. This whole discussion relates to creating a fuel return line.

The vacuum that leads into the FPR is from the intake plenum, of course.

Take a look at a vacuum assisted FPR. It has a number of inlets and outlets. Some of these entries are for fuel, and others are for vacuum lines.

Re-examine your instructions also. hHope this helps!
