I would definately say put your own kit together. That's what I did, if I would have bought a kit, I would have spent the same amount of money on parts that aren't so good. I don't know about getting a kit like that though, I think you could do better, but that's just my opinion. I think for that price, it could have better parts. Look around and start figuring out exactly what you would want and exactly how much you want to spend. If that kit fits the price and what you want, surely get it then, but if you want other parts, go your own route. Either way, you will love boost, I am almost there myself.
